PROJECT BACKGROUND
This project was designed for a modern private residence featuring a dramatic double-height staircase area with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and open architectural lines.
The client wanted a lighting installation that could fill the vertical space while maintaining a clean and sophisticated aesthetic. The goal was to create a chandelier that would function as both a sculptural centerpiece and a warm ambient light source—something visually striking during the day and atmospheric at night.
To achieve this vision, we customized our Alabaster Cubic Linear Chandelier, carefully adapting the suspension heights, cube arrangement, and overall scale to complement the proportions of the stairwell and surrounding architecture.
A Geometric Cascade of Natural Light
Inspired by the rhythm of floating architectural forms, the chandelier descends through the staircase void in a layered geometric composition.
Each illuminated alabaster cube appears suspended in midair, creating a structured yet elegant flow through the vertical space. The natural translucency of alabaster softens the light, producing a warm glow that contrasts beautifully against the clean modern interior.
As daylight shifts throughout the day, the fixture changes character—appearing sculptural and minimal during the afternoon, then transforming into a luminous focal point after sunset.

Customization & Production
Each alabaster cube was individually crafted and selected for its natural texture and light diffusion qualities. The layout was carefully engineered to create symmetry and depth throughout the staircase space.
Installation
Due to the height and layered structure, the installation required detailed planning and precision suspension adjustments. The final result achieved a perfectly balanced cascading effect from every viewing angle.
THE RESULT
The completed chandelier transforms the staircase into one of the home’s defining architectural features. It introduces warmth, dimension, and sculptural beauty while enhancing the openness of the interior.
By day, the alabaster cubes appear soft and natural against the daylight streaming through the windows. By night, the chandelier creates a calm and luxurious atmosphere with its warm layered glow.
