PROJECT BACKGROUND
This residential lighting project was designed for a modern luxury home focused on clean architectural lines, open vertical space, and minimalist aesthetics.
The homeowner wanted statement lighting that would enhance the spacious interior without disrupting the calm and refined atmosphere of the residence. The lighting needed to feel sculptural, lightweight, and contemporary while still providing a strong visual impact within the double-height architecture.
To achieve this, we customized two different versions of the Orrery Rings Chandelier specifically for the project:
- A dramatic 7-ring composition for the staircase void
- A refined 3-ring configuration for the secondary living area
Both fixtures were tailored to the ceiling height, spatial proportions, and interior lighting concept of the home.
A Floating Sculpture of Light
The custom 7-ring chandelier transforms the staircase area into a dynamic architectural centerpiece.
Suspended at varying heights, the illuminated rings create a floating sculptural effect that visually connects the upper and lower levels of the home. The asymmetrical arrangement introduces movement and elegance while maintaining the minimalist design language of the interior.
The warm integrated LED lighting softly reflects against the neutral surfaces, enhancing the depth and openness of the space both during the day and at night.
