PROJECT: Aurora Grand Cascade Installation

PROJECT BACKGROUND
This project was commissioned for a high-end residential interior featuring a dramatic multi-level open space connecting the living room, dining area, and upper floor. The architecture emphasized symmetry, height, and openness—requiring a lighting installation that could fully engage the vertical volume.
The designer sought a chandelier that would act as a central visual anchor—something bold and sculptural, yet refined enough to complement the elegant interior finishes. The fixture needed to unify multiple levels while enhancing the sense of scale and luxury.
To achieve this, we developed a custom multi-tier chandelier composed of layered glass ring elements, carefully arranged to create a cascading vertical composition.
A Monumental Cascade of Light
Suspended from a recessed ceiling dome, the chandelier unfolds downward in a sequence of illuminated rings, each layer contributing to a sense of rhythm and movement. The composition creates a striking visual axis that connects all levels of the space.
The glass elements are intricately formed, producing a textured edge that interacts dynamically with light. As illumination flows through each ring, it creates a soft yet radiant glow, enhancing the architectural lines and materials surrounding it.

FROM DESIGN TO INSTALLATION
Concept Development
We collaborated with the designer to define the chandelier as the focal point of the space, refining its scale and tier arrangement.
Customization & Fabrication
Each ring was crafted with attention to proportion and detail, ensuring consistency across all levels of the installation.
Installation
Due to the height and complexity, the installation required precise calibration of each suspension point to achieve a perfectly centered cascading effect.
THE RESULT
The final installation transforms the interior into a grand, gallery-like environment. The chandelier not only illuminates the space but also defines its identity.
During the day, the glass captures natural light, subtly enhancing the material palette. At night, the layered rings emit a warm, luminous glow, elevating the atmosphere to a new level of sophistication.
