A Contemporary Reading of the Murano Chandelier
The Addis Collection distills the romance of the Murano chandelier—that luminous, glass-first poetry—into clean, livable forms. Think balanced proportions, warm metal accents, and silhouettes that bring a calm, immersive glow to dining rooms, kitchens, living spaces, and entryways. If you love the artistry of Venetian glass but want a modern chandelier that fits today’s interiors, Addis is your bridge.
🔆 From Inspiration to Reality: The Birth of Addis
The idea for Addis began at dawn in Venice. Our lead designer watched sunlight move across arcades and water, layering in soft, rhythmic bands between columns. The question that followed became the brief: Could that architectural play of light and shadow be expressed with glass—clear, ordered, and serene?

Back in the studio, the team studied classical colonnades and the way hand-formed glass bends, diffuses, and holds light. Hundreds of sketches tested spacing, wall thickness, and the ratio of glass to metal until one language felt inevitable: vertically aligned glass elements doing the visual work while slim, hand-finished hardware receded. Prototypes cycled through different glass recipes and kiln temperatures to reach a gentle, jade-like diffusion—glowing without glare. Each shade is individually formed, so subtle variations keep Addis close to the character of Murano-style glasswork. The result is a collection that carries Venice’s atmosphere into modern homes—quiet, balanced, beautifully made.
