PROJECT: Prism Cascade Crystal Installation

PROJECT BACKGROUND
This project was created for a modern loft environment incorporating a staircase and corridor space with strong vertical movement. The designer aimed to introduce a lighting feature that would go beyond functionality—something that could act as an artistic focal point while enhancing the spatial experience.
The request was for a chandelier that felt expressive and dynamic, with a sense of movement and individuality. Rather than a uniform or predictable form, the designer was drawn to a more organic composition—one that could reflect light in varied and unexpected ways.
To bring this vision to life, we selected the Kevyn Modern Rock Crystal Round Living Room Chandelier, leveraging its irregular crystal formation and sculptural presence to create a distinctive lighting installation.
An Organic Composition of Light and Form
The chandelier is defined by its irregularly arranged crystal elements, forming a layered and dynamic composition that feels both natural and refined. Each crystal piece interacts with light differently, creating a constantly shifting visual effect.
As light passes through the textured surfaces, it refracts into subtle highlights and reflections, giving the fixture a vibrant, almost prismatic quality. The result is a chandelier that feels alive—changing with perspective, light, and time of day.

FROM DESIGN TO INSTALLATION
Concept Development
We worked closely with the designer to interpret the desired level of irregularity and visual movement, ensuring the chandelier would feel expressive yet cohesive.
Material Selection & Production
Each crystal element was selected and arranged to achieve a natural, layered composition while maintaining overall balance and structure.
Installation
The chandelier was positioned to maximize its interaction with both natural and artificial light, allowing the crystal to fully express its reflective qualities.
THE RESULT
The final installation serves as both a lighting fixture and a sculptural centerpiece. It introduces texture, brilliance, and movement into the space, elevating the overall design.
By day, the crystal captures ambient light, creating subtle shimmer and clarity. By night, it transforms into a luminous focal point, casting intricate reflections and enhancing the atmosphere.
