PROJECT: Floating Alabaster Light Strand Installation

PROJECT BACKGROUND
This project was developed for a contemporary loft space integrating a corridor and staircase area. The architecture emphasized vertical flow and openness, requiring a lighting solution that could enhance spatial continuity without adding visual weight.
The designer was seeking a fixture that felt minimal yet expressiveโsomething that could subtly define the space while maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic. Rather than a bulky statement piece, the goal was to introduce a refined lighting element that would feel light, rhythmic, and integrated into the architecture.
To achieve this, we selected the Modern LED Natural Alabaster Globes Beads Hanging Chandelier, utilizing its linear composition and natural materiality to complement the spatial concept.
A Floating Sequence of Light and Stone
The chandelier is composed of a series of alabaster globes arranged along a vertical axis, resembling a strand of softly glowing beads suspended in midair. This linear formation introduces a sense of movement and continuity, guiding the eye naturally through the space.
Each alabaster sphere diffuses light gently, creating a warm and ambient glow. The interplay between natural stone and soft illumination results in a calm, sculptural presence that enhances the atmosphere without overwhelming it.

Lightweight Visual Presence
The slender, vertical arrangement keeps the fixture visually light, making it ideal for transitional spaces like corridors and staircases.

Installation
The chandelier was installed to follow the vertical rhythm of the space, creating a continuous visual line from one level to another.
THE RESULT
The final installation delivers a subtle yet striking visual effect. It enhances the spatial experience without dominating it, acting as a refined architectural accent.
During the day, the alabaster spheres display their natural texture and soft tones. At night, they emit a warm, diffused light that brings quiet elegance and cohesion to the space.
